If an offer is given, why not take advantage of the offer? Just because you may be receiving the smaller amount than the other person are you necessarily missing out? If they offered you $30 and your friend $70 for no apparent reason, are you getting the short end of the stick? People in our world have grown to be very greedy. In our society today, there is not one thing in this world that seems to be free without obligation. So, if money was offered without having to owe anything in return, why not take it, whether it be $1,000 or a quarter. No matter the amount, you did not have that amount before added to your wealth. So why are people so greedy? People will envy the other person because of the fact that the other people were offered more. If the person who is getting less can feel disreguarded and maybe a bit of curiosity of why the other person is offered more.
